Installation

Working together

Before an installation, a Tulikivi expert will perform a home assessment. This can be done either over the telephone, in our showroom in South Cerney, or in person at the property where the fireplace is to be installed.

During this assessment, the Tulikivi expert will recommend the best Tulikivi for your home by assessing your needs and requirements. You will receive a detailed project specification outlining every detail of your installation, and our friendly team are always happy to help with any questions.

Preparation

It’s well worth a visit to our showroom. Situated in the picturesque Cotswold Water Park in Gloucestershire, we have many working models on display. You may even see a cookery demonstration!

Whilst you are in the planning stages of your remodelling or building, you may wish to share your building plans and other information with us so that we can recommend the best Tulikivi for your home. This information can include:

- Room size - length, width, and height
- Sizes of opening (if applicable) - length, width, and height
- Detailed drawings
- Images of the existing fireplace and outside of the property starting at ground level up to the chimney stack (3 images are usually sufficient)

Preparation

Installation day

Your installation will follow the detailed project specification sent to you by your surveyor in the planning stages of your project.

We recommend that, where possible, you are present at the end of your installation so that your Tulikivi installers can explain the user instructions for your new fireplace, and show you how to use your Tulikivi.

When the installers have left your home, we recommend that you register your Tulikivi straight away and print a copy of your registration document for your records.
